Hi I’m Melissa!

I am a professional biomedical illustrator and graphic designer with experience drawing and designing for various hospital systems.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences Illustration from the Cleveland Institute of Art and am currently pursuing my Certification in Medical Illustration.

My work blends scientific accuracy with visual storytelling, capturing new scientific information and translating it into engaging, informative visuals. With a background in fine arts, branding design, museum/gallery studies, and medical illustration, I bring a fresh perspective to the field, creating inclusive, story-driven visuals that communicate complex science with inclusion, clarity, and empathy.

When I am not Drawing:

  • I hike and travel whenever I get the opportunity!

  • I try niche workout classes

  • I watch documentaries and read phycology books

  • I volunteer for the community spaces around me

  • I love to spend time with my adorable niece and nephews (and the rest of my family and friends)
